Target

IntroductionThe calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase type II delta chain is an enzyme encoded by the CAMK2D gene.

The product of this gene belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family and to the Ca2+/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase subfamily. Calcium signaling is essential for many aspects of glutamatergic synaptic plasticity. In mammalian cells, the enzyme is composed of four different chains: α, β, γ, and δ. The product of this gene is the delta chain. To date, four alternative spliced transcript variants encoding three different isoforms have been characterized. Different isoforms of the chain have different expression patterns.
Product OverviewThis product is a Rabbit antibody against the AA 20-60 of the CAMK2D. It can be used for CAMK2D detection in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin.
