FOXO1 is a transcription factor that plays an important role in regulating gluconeogenesis and glycogenolysis through insulin signaling, and is also the key to determining the participation of preadipocytes in fat formation. It is mainly regulated by phosphorylation of multiple residues. Its transcriptional activity depends on its phosphorylation status. |
