Target
Introduction | Type I collagen is the most abundant collagen in the human body. It forms large eosinophilic fibers called collagen fibers. It exists in scar tissue, the final product of tissue healing through repair, the inner membrane of tendons, ligaments, myofibrils, organic parts of bone, dermis, dentin and organ capsules. Type II collagen (CII) is a component of peptides and articular cartilage. Its oral intake seems to reduce the body's own CII autoimmunity, thereby reducing inflammation of osteoarthritis and rheumatism, and beneficial to joint health. |
