SpecificitySpecificity: These antibodies recognize the LPS of Chlamydia trachomatis serotypes A, B, Ba, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L1, L2, L3. LPS specificity was demonstrated as follows: antibody reactivity was abolished after treatment of EBs with sodium periodate (destroys LPS but does not alter proteins), but is not affected by proteinase K treatment of EBs (destroys proteins but does not alter carbohydrates). End users should determine the optimal concentration for their application.
