Target
Introduction | PsaA and PsaB bind P700, the primary electron donor of photosystem I (PSI), as well as the electron acceptors A0, A1 and FX. PSI is a plastocyanin-ferredoxin oxidoreductase, converting photonic excitation into a charge separation, which transfers an electron from the donor P700 chlorophyll pair to the spectroscopically characterized acceptors A0, A1, FX, FA and FB in turn. Oxidized P700 is reduced on the lumenal side of the thylakoid membrane by plastocyanin. |
Product Overview | Mouse Anti-Arabidopsis PSAA Antibody is a mouse antibody against PSAA. It can be used for PSAA detection in Western Blot, Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay. |
Alternative Names | Photosystem I P700 chlorophyll a apoprotein A1; EC 1.97.1.12; PSI-A; PsaA; psaA; AtCg00350 |
UniProt ID | P56766 |
Protein Refseq | The length of the protein is 750 amino acids long. Figure 1 RNA transcripts and editing analysis in Ipa66 mutants. RNA gel blot hybridization with total RNA from leaves of wild-type (WT) and Ipa66-1 mutant plants. Ten micrograms of total leaf RNA per well from 5-week-old wild-type and Ipa66-1 plants was loaded per well. The probes for the genes psbA, psbB, psbC, psbDf psbEFLJ, psbKI, psaA, and petA are indicated to the left. rRNA was visualized by staining with ethidium bromide as an equal loading control.
