Chlorophyllase-1
Catalyzes the hydrolysis of ester bond in chlorophyll to yield chlorophyllide and phytol. Shows a preferential activity toward chlorophyll a. CLH1 is located in the developing chloroplast of young leaves and associates with the PSII disassembly complexes RCC1 and RC47, preferring the latter when exposed to bright light.
