Laminin
Laminin was purified from mouse Engelbreth-Holm-Swarm (EHS) sarcoma as a laminin-nestin complex. Laminin is a heterotrimer made of alpha, beta and gamma chain subunits. It is a glycoprotein required for the structural scaffolding of the basement membrane. Laminin supports the growth and differentiation of many cell types, including epithelial cells, endothelial cells, nerve cells, muscle cells, and hepatocytes.
