Target

IntroductionThe mitochondrial membrane ATP synthase (F(1)F(0) ATP synthase or complex V) generates ATP from ADP in the presence of a transmembrane proton gradient generated by the electron transport complex of the respiratory chain. F-type ATPases are composed of two domains, F(1) - containing the extramembrane catalytic core and F(0) - containing the membrane proton channel, linked together by a central and peripheral stem. During catalysis, ATP synthesis in the F(1) catalytic domain is coupled to proton translocation through a rotational mechanism of the central stem subunit. Subunits alpha and beta form the catalytic core in F(1). Rotation of the central stem against the surrounding alpha(3)beta(3) subunit results in the hydrolysis of ATP at three independent catalytic sites on the beta subunit.
Product OverviewThis product is a mouse antibody against atpB. It can be used for atpB detection in Western Blot, Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay.
