Specifications
| Description | BW25113 strain is derived from E. coli K-12 W1485, which is a derivative strain of K12, similar to MG1655, and an E. coli engineering strain that has undergone less modification and is closer to the "wild type". As a maternal strain, BW25113 can be used to make E. coli Keio Knockout libraries; at the same time, it can be used as an E. coli model strain to make Knockout mutants of various genes. |
| Gene Types | F-, DE (araD-araB) 567, lacZ4787 (del)::rrnB-3, LAM-, rph-1, DE (rhaD-rhaB) 568, hsdR514 |
| Size | 100 µL/vial |
| QC result | Transformation efficiency of pUC19 plasmid detection:> 0.5×109 cfu/μg DNA |
| Note | 1. Competent cells should be slowly thawed in ice. The target DNA should be added within 8 minutes of inserting into ice. Do not keep in ice for too long, as long-term storage will reduce the transformation efficiency. 2. Transforming high concentrations of plasmids or high-efficiency ligation products can correspondingly reduce the amount of bacteria that will be used for plating. |
