AccD protein

Component of the acetyl coenzyme A carboxylase (ACC) complex. Biotin carboxylase (BC) catalyzes the carboxylation of biotin on its carrier protein (BCCP) and then the CO group is transferred by the transcarboxylase to acetyl-CoA to form malonyl-CoA.
