TNF superfamily member 13
APRIL (proliferation-inducing ligand) is a member of the TNF superfamily found in humans and mice. The two receptors for APRIL are named TACI and BCMA. APRIL stimulates B and T cell proliferation, triggers humoral immune responses, activates NF-kB, and induces cell death. APRIL and its receptors BCMA and TACI have been implicated in autoimmunity and cancer.
