Target
Introduction | Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) require coreceptors in addition to CD4 to infect target cells. Several G protein-coupled receptors in the chemokine receptor family, including CCR5, CXCR4, CCR3, and CCR2b, have been previously identified as HIV coreceptors. An orphan G protein-coupled receptor named Bonzo was recently cloned and identified as HIV-1 and -2 and SIV coreceptor (also known as STRL33 and TYMSTR). Bonzo's messenger RNA is expressed in lymphoid tissue and activated peripheral blood lymphocytes. |
Product Overview | The Bonzo (CT) antibody is used as Infectious Disease Antibodies. |
