Capable of unwinding D-loops. Plays a role in limiting crossover recombinants during mitotic DNA double-strand break (DSB) repair (PubMed:19136626). Component of a FANCM-MHF complex which promotes gene conversion at blocked replication forks, probably by reversal of the stalled fork (PubMed:20347428).
