Description | INVSc1 strain is a host yeast specially used for recombinant protein expression. The pYES2 plasmid is used together with INVSc1 yeast to activate the transcription of the GAL1 promoter of the pYES2 plasmid to initiate the expression of downstream recombinant proteins. INVSc1 is zygotic, and the pYES2 plasmid can be directly transformed into INVSc1 cells by PEG/LiAc. The screening marker of plasmid pYES2 is URA, which can be screened by SD-URA plate. |
Gene Types | MATa his3Δ1 leu2 trp1-289 ura3-52/MATα his3Δ1 leu2 trp1-289 ura3-52 |
Size | 100 µL/vial |
QC result | Transformation efficiency of pYES2 plasmid detection:>104 cfu/μg DNA. |
Note | 1. Competent cells should be thawed on ice as much as possible. 2. Transforming high concentrations of plasmids can correspondingly reduce the amount of bacteria that are ultimately used for plating. 3. The INVSc1 yeast strain is sensitive to high temperature, and the suitable growth temperature is 27-30°C; above 31°C, the growth rate and transformation efficiency decrease exponentially. |
