MYC
Myc is a family of regulatory genes and proto-oncogenes that encode transcription factors. The Myc family consists of three related human genes: c-myc (MYC), l-myc (MYCL), and n-myc (MYCN). Due to its homology to the viral gene v-myc, c-myc (sometimes called MYC) is the first gene discovered in this family.
