The deletion of endonuclease (endA) improves the yield and quality of plasmid DNA; the recombinase-deficient type (recA) reduces the probability of homologous recombination of the inserted fragment and ensures the stability of the inserted DNA; the presence of lacZΔM15 makes DH5α available for blue, Vitiligo screening. |

| Note | 1. Competent cells should be slowly thawed in ice, and the target DNA should be added within 8 minutes of inserting into ice. Transforming high concentrations of plasmids or high-efficiency ligation products can correspondingly reduce the amount of bacteria that are ultimately used for plating. |
