| Description | The BL21(DE3)pLysS strain carries the pLysS plasmid and is resistant to chloramphenicol. pLysS contains a gene expressing T7 lysozyme. T7 lysozyme can act on the peptidoglycan on the cell wall of E. coli to dissolve E. coli, which can reduce the background expression level of the target gene, but does not interfere with the expression induced by IPTG, and is suitable for expressing toxic proteins and non-toxic proteins. toxic protein. | Note | 1. Melt competent cells slowly in ice as much as possible, and add target DNA within 8 minutes of inserting into ice.
